Shanly Homes - the privately-owned, award-winning regional housebuilder - is looking for Forklift Drivers / Site Assistants to join their friendly team based on one of our sites in and around the Thames Valley area and Southern home counties.
About the role

Materials; assist with all deliveries to site and ensure these are stored securely and easily available for use.

Presentation; keep the site and plots clean and tidy, with regular cleaning of all facilities, litter picking of areas and maintenance of site hoarding and signage.

Health and Safety; ensure pedestrian walkways are established and maintained, the waste management area is cleaned with materials placed in the correct skip and stairwell protection is correctly installed and maintained.

Forklift and equipment; carry out regular inspections of the forklift and other equipment to ensure it is kept in a clean and usable condition, raising any issues to the site manager.
About you

Prior experience working on a construction site.

Valid CSCS card and ideally trained as a First Aider.

Forklift licence and full driving licence as you will be required to travel between sites when needed.

Application and knowledge of relevant health and safety practices.
