We’re looking for a Forklift Driver / Site Assistant to join one of our Thames Valley or Southern region sites, contributing to the smooth running and presentation of our developments.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be involved in a variety of engaging site work, playing a key role in supporting our experienced site team and maintaining the high standards our developments are known for.
- Materials: Assist with all deliveries to site and ensure materials are safely and securely stored for use.
- Presentation: Maintain a clean and tidy site at all times, ensuring all facilities are regularly cleaned to our high presentation standards.
- Health and Safety: Promote and implement best practice in all aspects of site safety. Ensure pedestrian walkways are kept clear and well maintained.
- Forklift and equipment: Carry out thorough inspections of the forklift and other site equipment, promptly reporting any issues to the Site Manager.
About you
- Proven experience working on a construction site, with extensive knowledge of operating forklift machinery.
- Valid CSCS card and First Aid training.
- Forklift licence and full UK driving licence, as travel between sites may be required.
- Strong initiative and awareness, with the confidence to raise any issues relating to health and safety.
- Excellent work ethic, with a hardworking and committed approach that matches our culture of excellence.
