    Trainee Sales Consultant - Site

    We’re on the lookout for confident and driven Trainee Sales Consultants to support sales on our premium developments in some of the South East’s most desirable locations including Ascot, White Waltham, Beaconsfield and Tonbridge.  

    This is more than just a sales role - it is an exciting opportunity to learn how to deliver a first-class journey for our customers. 

    About You

    • Direct sales experience is not essential, we recruit for character, attitude and potential. 
    • Experience in a customer-facing role and are confident in building rapport and strong relationships. 
    • Naturally proactive and curious, you are motivated to learn and develop your skills. 
    • The ability to work weekends on a rota basis - with free weekends off to enjoy. 
    • Adaptable and proactive, willing to be flexible and support all aspects of the sales process. 
    • Organised and detail-obsessed, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time. 
    • Self-motivated and resilient, you take initiative and stay focused under pressure. 
    • You take pride in your presentation and in the standard of your work. 
    • You hold a full, clean UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.

    What you’ll be doing 

    • Welcome every visitor to our show homes with a warm, friendly approach, quickly building rapport and making them feel valued. 
    • Learn how to manage enquiries, viewings and reservations in line with Shanly Homes standards. 
    • Share valuable insights, knowledge and feedback to improve marketing activity, drive footfall and increase customer engagement. 
    • Building strong product, specification and local market knowledge through structured training and self-learning. 
    • Developing a commercially-minded approach to sales, with a natural interest in negotiation, customer persuasion and helping customers progress through the buying journey.

    • Competitive salary starting at £25,000.
    • Annual leave starting at 25 days (excluding bank holidays) and increasing to 30 days.
